Chapter 335 members had a great evening of comradery by volunteering at the Huntsville Botanic Garden's Galaxy of Lights. We shared potluck and braved the Huntsville winter to greet visitors, collect fees, and direct traffic.

Chapter 335 sponsors scholorships for the outstanding Air Force Junior Researve Officer Training Corps cadets at JO Johnson, Huntsville, and Bob Jones High Schools.
AFA Tennessee Valley Chapter 335 celebrated the 69th birthday of the United States Air Force with veterans of all services at the Floyd E. "Tut" Fann State Veteran's Home in Huntsville, AL. The event included a cake cutting and singing of the Air Force Song.
Chapter members and their guests gathered to celebrate the 69th birthday of the United States Air Force at the Jackson Center. The evening event featured heavy appetizers, a cash bar, a birthday cake, and the USAF song. We also had a special presentation of historic photos of Chapter members.
Chapter 335 rolled out the 'heavy package' of trucks for the 2016 Huntsville Veteran's Day parade!

Cadet Colonel Emmanuel Offei-Dua received the $1500 Major Howard Christiansen Memorial Scholarship as the top cadet amoung the three AFJROTC units in the Huntsville area. Cadet Offei-Dua is a senior at Huntsville High School. Mrs. Angela Graves is recognized as Tennessee Valley Chapter 335 Teacher of the Year for her leadership as Project Lead the Way teacher at Boaz Intermediate School for grades four and five. She received a pin, portfolio, and check for $250.
Chapter 335 members Guy Broadhurst and Jay Carlson lay a wreath at the veteran memorial in Maple Hill Cemetery honoring our fallen bretheren who made the ultimate sacrifice to preserve our freedom. Members of the Eight Air Force (historical) association were also in attendance.
