ABOUT US:
The Air & Space Forces Association (AFA) Tennessee Valley Chapter 335 is a non-profit, tax exempt organization in accordance with IRS 501(c)(3). We are an independent, professional military and aerospace education association promoting public understanding of aerospace power and the pivotal role it plays in the security of the nation. AFA publishes Air Force Magazine, conducts national symposia and disseminates information through outreach programs. It sponsors professional development seminars and recognizes excellence in the education and aerospace fields through national awards programs. AFA presents scholarships and grants to Air Force active duty, Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve members and their dependents; and awards educator grants to promote science and math education at the elementary and secondary school level. Additionally, AFA publishes a wide range of materials on www.afa.org.
OUR MISSION:
Our mission is to promote dominant U.S. Air & Space Forces as the foundation of a strong National Defense; to honor and support our Airmen, Guardians, and their Families; and to remember and respect our enduring Heritage. To accomplish this, we:
EDUCATE the public on the critical need for unrivaled aerospace power and promote aerospace and STEM education for a technically superior and professional workforce to ensure national security;
ADVOCATE and promote aerospace power to favorably shape policy and resourcing decisions to guarantee the strongest aerospace forces in the world;
SUPPORT Airmen, Guardians, and the families of the Total Air Force and Space Force, including Active Duty, National Guard, Reserve, civilians, families, and members of the Civil Air Patrol.

The Air & Space Forces Association is the premier professional military and aerospace education association in the nation, dedicated to United States dominance in air, space, and cyberspace, a strong national defense, and support for the people who serve the United States Air Force and United States Space Force.
TO JOIN:
If you would like to join AFA and be affiliated with the Tennessee Valley Chapter, please follow these simple steps!
1. Go to our “Links” page and click on “AFA National.”
2. Once there, click on the “Join” tab.
3. Select a membership type (Student, Individual Lifetime, or Individual) by clicking the appropriate “Next Step” button. You will then be prompted to create an account or login if you already have one.
4. During the registration process you will be asked for “AFA Chapter of Choice.” You should select “(AL) AF335: Tennessee Valley Chapter.”
5. Simply complete the process and you and will be our newest member of the Tennessee Valley Chapter! Everyone is welcome at our monthly Executive Council meetings (time and location listed on the “Events” tab).
